X1 Michigan Towers – Tower 1

The first of four towers within the project, it features 375 1, 2 & 3 bed apartments + 9 two bed townhouses. Prices start from £175,995 for a one bed apartment and £299,995 for a two bed townhouse. It has a long term lease tenure of 999 years from 2022. Additionally, the service charge is reasonable at £1.88/SQFT. Furniture packs are available starting at £2,995 for a 1 bed and increase by £1,000 per bedroom.

There are a limited number of parking spaces available (6) and can be purchased for an additional £25k per space. Though, parking isn’t essential due to the great walkability and connectivity.

This is the first tower of four and is due for completion in 2023. There’s a 10 year building warranty for peace of mind, along with onsite management. Ground rent is £395 per unit. Units can be reserved with in initial deposit of £5000.

An increasingly connected part of Greater Manchester. Right on the doorstep, residents have the Harbour City Tram Stop. This connects to Deansgate-Castlefield station in 5 stops. There’s also easy access to the bus network.

Living at Michigan Towers

1 bed

The one beed designs are efficient, and that need to be, coming in at around 415 SQFT. However, they still manage to incorporate a full kitchen (details in the finishes section below). Importantly, both the bedroom and living room having abundant natural light.

View options include North-East (towards the city centre) or South-West (into the internal courtyard). The one bed apartments are clustered around the elevator, so there may be a bit of noise from passing traffic.

2 bed

The two bed options hover around 645 SQFT and there are a few more layout and view options, compared to the one beds.

The 02 and 05 designs feature seperate bedrooms, both with natural light. This is great for shared tenants who appreciate space between the bedrooms. Additionally, these types are efficiently designed with no hallway space. The kitchen is also bigger than the one bedrooms and there is more space for the dining table, too. Views are the same as the one beds; either North-East (towards the city centre) or South-West (into the internal courtyard).

2 bed living area - X1 Michigan Towers

The 04, 05 and 09 apartment types have their bedrooms together and a little bit of wasted space with corridors. However, they are all corner units, so feature great amount of natural light to all bedrooms. Taking up three of the four corners – there’s a view option to suit everyones needs!

3 bed / Townhouse

Included within the tower are 9 townhomes – all two beds. They all feature approx. 850 SQFT of space, living downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. Further, they have direct entry to the internal courtyard.

The 3 bed options are limited to the south-east corner. It affords all bedrooms plus the living room views to the north-east, towards Manchester city. There’s also a full sized-kitchen and seperate dining area within the apartment’s 870 sqft of living space.
