About The Heaton Group

The Heaton Group finds incredible meaning and value in buildings. It’s not just property and it’s more than just a place to live – it can be an historic landmark, a piece of history, a part of our urban landscape. They lend a town its personality and a community its character. The Heaton Group exists to strengthen that meaning and protect that value.

We bring plenty of commercial savvy to every development project, renovation or new build. We’re predominantly in the business of regenerating older buildings and, in the process, reinvigorating some of our region’s communities. We’re custodians of heritage and character, preserving the best of local icons while providing the kind of urbane habitats that are made for lifestyle living.

It’s a service we’ve been providing for generations – there’s nothing short term about what we do. With that experience comes an approach that simply works: we make a connection with our communities, we build trust with our customers and we deliver quality you can rely on. The result – whether it’s a home to buy, a place to rent or an investment to make – is a sustainable development, a community asset and a stylish home.

The Heaton Group – Creating Communities

We understand the importance of community and it’s at the heart of everything we do. When we renovate a dilapidated building we enhance town centres, bring neighbours together and restore local pride. Working in partnership with local councils, we target buildings in areas earmarked for investment, stimulating the local market and bringing excitement to the area.

The Heaton Group’s new build developments also focus on building a strong sense of community, with communal spaces for residents to congregate, meet and get to know each other.

The Heaton Group – Location

Our head office is in Wigan, the home of the Heaton family for generations. Located in the North West of England, Wigan is between Manchester and Liverpool and has fantastic train links to Manchester, Liverpool, Edinburgh and London, making it an easy destination for visitors. Our office is conveniently located a stones throw from both of Wigan’s train stations.
